ASTRO TURF MULTI SPORT MINI PITCH
Llangeinor Football Club in partnership with Llangeinor Rangers, Llangeinor Girls & Boys Club, Community First and Bridgend County Borough Council were successfull in gaining funding to allow us to install a fantastic facility @ Llangeinor Park.
The pitch was donated from UEFA via the Welsh FA, and the comunity groups had to fund the installation, ball catching fencing, tarmac surround & Floodlights.
Working in partnership with all of the above organisations allowed us to realise this facility. Many thanks must go to the Community First worker Paula Lunnon for co-ordinating the project for us.
The official opening was performed by Janice Gregory AM on Friday 27th April 2007.
below are a couple of pictures of the facility.
